First step self talk. I don't want you to do anything hard ever in your life again without conscious self talk. I don't want you to run a race. I don't want you to have that hard conversation with your partner or your spouse or the kid or the people at work. I don't want you to wander in the all hands meeting on Zoom and just start rambling to people. I need you to cheer yourself up. Put yourself in an empowering position. Remind yourself of who you are before you get in it. Because if you don't, you will tend to ruin something. You'll ruin it over and over because you didn't prepare yourself. The task is never the thing. The task is managing you. That's the project of life.
