The noise thing, the drama thing, upset thing, it's unfair thing. All those things can be true. So people always get very upset when I talk about this. I'm like, the difference is if you are that monster, you're the one generating the offense. And so if there's all this time focused on personal offense and self righteousness, then what happens is there's no time for the dream. And you're like, why does life feel terrible? I'm like, because you're getting offended all the time and you're making a thing, a thing that doesn't need to be a thing. And. And the more you make that thing into the noise monster, the more you can't hear truth. People tell me all the time, Brendan, I just. I don't lie. I just stopped dreaming. I said, no, you didn't. Just started focusing on the noise. No one stopped streaming. They just started focusing on something different. That's the formula. See, the dreams have to be a bigger part of your attention than the noise.
