A short monologue (YouTube) by Daniel Borschel addressing how people often change only in response to external demands, how they follow paths defined by others, and how fear of judgment causes self-silencing. The speaker invites listeners to overcome self-censorship and to share their truths together.

A lot of people only change because of demand. Somebody's demanding something of them so they just have to figure it out. They have to survive. That's pretty much the genesis of most of my life was being in crisis mode. Sometimes what you have to do, you're meeting up somebody else's expectations. Sometimes you're following a path that they've defined for you. Sometimes you're doing what they say is sane or right but you know in your heart it's actually wrong for for you. Maybe you have a real truth that you wanted to share with other people but you keep holding it back because you know they're going to judge you and they're going to shut you down. You shut yourself down enough. And so we're going to come over, we're going to like really overcome some of that together. If you could help me share the message of this story, I think we can do something really important together.
