This is a YouTube video titled "How to become a Visionary leader" (created 2024-09-10) containing an English monologue in which a single speaker addresses community and business leaders about the difference between visionary leaders and "firefighter" leaders. The speaker emphasizes preparing ahead of problems by training, reading, meditating, finding mentors, and joining structured training programs; references COVID as an example of lack of foresight; and promotes a closed mentorship program that is reopening with an application process. The excerpt appears to be a motivational/leadership talk and a call-to-action to contact the speaker's team to apply for mentorship.

Hey, hey, my friend. I believe you are doing super well and you are having fun. It's a it is a very, very, very hot day in Texas. Really, really, really hot and very sunny day. So I mean, I just want to share this video with you out there, and I believe you are leader. And probably a community leader or, you know, probably a business owner. And one of the things I always ask myself is that, you know, what is the really— in a sunny day like this, what is really, really, really— what makes a difference between a good leader and then a bad leader. Today, so many people have fight for leadership position, uh, as if there's only one seat for a leader. But the truth is that, uh, regardless of, regardless of what you're doing, um, I don't know if you're in real estate, uh, you may be a pastor of church, or you maybe lead your small business Uh, the truth is that business have cycle. Business have cycle just like a life. That's what we call a cycle of business cycle of life, business cycle. So every cycle come with their own problem, and most of the time each cycle will require a different skill set to run that business or run that company, whatever it is. So emerging leader, or the leader that is going to lead or solve the problem of our— will be the one that actually prepare themselves before the problem come. Today we have what we call a firefighter leader, so we solve problem instead of carry the community and carry the business farther away. Uh, you know, I'm talking about a visionary leader. Visionary leader doesn't wait until the problem comes to solve problem, but they work ahead of time. They prepare and they solve problems before a problem comes. And how do you do that? You must do that by preparing yourself, by building yourself. If you train yourself properly If you equip yourself, if you get equipped properly, you'll become the leader of our— remember when we had COVID, the whole world was shut down. Why? Because no one thought about it ahead of time. So if you want to be relevant, if you want to stay relevant as a leader, you have to make sure you train yourself. You train yourself. I mean, this is a weekend I'm locked in, in a house and just just, you know, uh, sharpen myself and read and meditate and, and read and read and read. Why? Because I have to equip myself for the problem that's actually ahead of us, because the knowledge of yesterday may not be enough to deal with today's problem. So if you want to become a— if you want to become an emerging leader, You have to get into a really, really good training system. Uh, you have to take a quiet time. You have to take time, you know, time to— you have to make sure you have a mentor. You have to put yourself in program that is going to help you grow, not necessarily get the knowledge to solve immediate problem, but also prepare you to solve a problem that can come ahead of time. So, um, I think today I'm taking students. I mean, my mentorship program was closed for some time, so if you are one of the person that want to be challenged, that want to, you know, take your game to another level, that want to solve a major problem out there, okay, reach out to my team, um, and then we'll make you fill out that application to see if you are qualified to join my mentorship program. All right, make sure you have fun, and in the hot state of like Texac, Stay in the world. All right then.
