In this motivational talk, the speaker argues that preoccupation with others' opinions is a major obstacle to personal success and growth. He explains that when you strive for excellence, you expose the mediocrity of those around you, which can provoke criticism. The speaker urges listeners to ignore both external judgments and self‑doubt, focusing instead on the "fruit" of their actions— tangible results that reflect true character. He cites the biblical principle, "by their fruit you will know them," to illustrate that outcomes, not opinions, define a person. The core message is to listen to one's inner purpose, work hard to add value to others, and pursue a purpose‑driven life, whether that involves starting a business, changing appearance, or expanding personal ambitions. By centering on purpose, effort, and fruitfulness, one can rise above societal expectations and achieve fulfillment.

Hey, my friend, another thing you must do if you want to be successful in life is really— it's simple. You probably know this already. Don't worry about what people think. Yes, don't worry about what people think. If you focus so much on what people think, you're never going to be successful. You're never going to grow in life. Remember, people want to keep you in their level. When you change, when you make a change in your life, a lot of times people don't like it, the change, just because you have to— you cause— you have to cause them to change. When you start operating excellency, you, you expose the mediocrity of others. Therefore, they must attack you. What do you think you are now? What do you want to show people? You probably heard this before. Oh, now you want to read a book a day? Now what you want to tell us? You want to start your own business now? You don't want to keep 9 to 5 anymore? Oh, now you want to build a big house for your dad, huh? Don't worry about what people think. So now you need to dress good all the time? Why do you have to put makeup on even in the evening and look good? You probably heard this before. So why you want to start a business? Oh, you want to be evil, huh? You want to have a lot of money and be evil like rich people. You hear this before. Oh, why you want to cut your hair? Why you want to paint your hair yellow? Why you want to twist your hair? People opinion doesn't matter. I always tell people, what people think of you or about you, it doesn't matter. What even yourself you think about yourself, it doesn't matter because that's not the truth. What come out of your life, that's what matters. That's the truth. The Lord Jesus said, by their fruit you will know them. So your fruit would dictate and proclaim who you are, not what you tell people, not Not what they say you are, not even what you say you are. When we look in a mirror, most of the time we see— either accept the way we look, or we see who we want to become. Don't worry about what people think if you ever want to be successful. There's no leader. Anytime when you emerge, you always bring controversy because some people want— some people, you know, ask you, why don't you just stay like everybody else? Why do you have to buy bigger house? Why do you have to buy another car? Why don't you keep your old car? You see, people opinion, people opinion. Why do you have to, you know, expand the church? Why do you have to add another service? Why do you do— why do you guys pray for longer hour? Why do you keep changing purse? Purses? Come on. So if you want to please people, this person don't want to change purse, that person wants to change purse, this person wanted to do this, that person— so what are you going to listen to? Listen to yourself. Listen to your true self, the person who come from within. That's who you are. Don't worry about what people think of you. Don't even worry about what you think of you. Focus on the fruit. Focus on what you want to become and work hard on yourself to be the best, the person who adds value to others, the person who lives for a purpose. The person who's on the mission, the person who have a purpose, who have an eye on the purpose, the person who is fulfilled. That's the pathway to the top. See you around.
