OBSTACLE IS THE WAY, PART V || ILEAD GLOBAL SCHOOL OF BUSINES 365

Coach Ralph explains how to overcome obstacles by breaking them into small, manageable steps instead of staring at the whole problem. He uses Ryan Holiday's idea that a clear process makes doubt manageable, comparing it to reading a thick book one chapter a day or driving through darkness with headlights. The key: identify one concrete action you can take today.

Hey, my friend. Hey, we are having fun with this obstacle is the way. Hey, you are facing obstacle probably at this time in your family, with your business, things you want to accomplish in your life but you don't know how to. It become an obstacle. Maybe challenge with your business. You probably have some of your leader that stress you out. You need to fire them and get somebody else, but it's become an obstacle. Maybe you have a goal that things that you want to build, but you don't know how to build. You don't know where the money is going to come from. It becomes an obstacle. How do you break through? Do you run away from the obstacle? Do you run to your mom, to your dad, to your friend, all your faces, and scrub them? You know, we talk about big idea number 7 is the process. It's a process. Whenever you are facing a challenge, you have to develop a process approach. to deal with that. Ryan Holiday says something very good. He said the process makes the doubting more approachable. The process makes the doubting more approachable. If you have to over— let's say you have to destroy the whole elephant. That may look overwhelming. But even if you were just given a small knife, if you develop a mechanism to cut even a little bit, a little bit at a time, it's not going to be as overwhelming than if you just see the whole thing. It's good to apply the law of the big picture, but when you develop the process, how are you going to do it? What is your approach? How much are you going to take per day? If you have the whole book to read, or maybe let's say you have— you want to read the whole Bible within the year, for example. Just by hearing this, you'll be like, oh my gosh, how am I going to do that? I used to have friends that would share with me that, hey, I want to read my Bible during the— I want to read my Bible 2, 3 times. I'll say, how do you do it? Until I started doing it myself. You just have to take a few chapters and read every day and just break it into 30 minutes per day. And before you know, you'll knock out the whole thing. Process. It doesn't matter how big is the obstacle. Don't worry about the whole picture. Yes, look at the big picture, but shred everything down to the small approach. What is the mechanism that you will use to deliver the method that you want to apply to have the result that you are looking for? I love Chinese movie. Whatever Chinese movie star, you know exactly what's going to happen. They're going to kill somebody's parent and the guy's going to be a baby. And he have to go back to the master and learn kung fu, come back and kill the bad guy. We all know that and we still enjoy it. But look at the process. The process, it makes so, so, so, so fun. Whatever you do, develop a process. Not only that, he say, not only that, he say, by doing, Our very best, step by step, we come close to the ultimate goal without scrambling. By doing our very best, step by step, we come to the ultimate goal without scrambling. If you need to go from your house to the city at midnight, when you turn off your car, get in your car and crack the car, you're not going to see the city from there. Your light can only give you so much. But guess what? As you press in that dark, your light will keep breaking that door and everything will become clear. And before you get to town, you actually saw everything from where you left to the town, and everything will become clear, very, very clear to you. That's the law of step by step. Whatever you know, if you need to get to the 20th floor or 50th floor, Without elevator, what do you do? One step at a time. And when you break to 3 steps, the journey will be very, very, very, very short. And then, and then, say something. Instead of distressing over the big picture, only focus on the process. The next thing, the next thing, simply do what you need to do right now. I have a lot of people come and see me and say, Coach Ralph, this is what I want to do with my business, but I don't know what to do. Obstacle. I will ask you to do the next thing. What's the next thing that you can do today that can bring you close to your goal? That's it. And it doesn't matter how big the obstacle is, you'll be able to overcome that. It doesn't matter how big the problem is, you'll be able to take that down. It doesn't matter how big the mountain is. The moment you start climbing, you can see higher and higher and higher, but you must apply a step-by-step. So that's the way to pitch into any mountain. Tomorrow we will talk about something more powerful, the law of momentum. Momentum. How do you develop the speed like a plane to take off and crush any obstacle? So we'll talk about that tomorrow. See you tomorrow. Thank you.
