But I believe one of the best ways to really, really help your people is to show them your pathway. If I show you how I make it, if I show you that, hey, I used to be in the wall, right there in the wall, trying to make money anyhow, in a crooked way. I didn't care about people. It was all about me. And if Even though it looked like I was making, but I was miserable. Somebody else can take a look, you know, and it may look like, man, that guy is doing so well. But I was dying from within. Money was not, you know, money was not the deal. I always tell people, when you can have enough money to pay your rent, take care of your health and all that, when you have $100,000 or $200,000 in a bank account, have no more power. What do you need for? It's not going to help you. I mean, you don't need it. You can't spend that kind of money to eat every day, right? So the motivation, you know, the motivation could not be money if you— when you make certain amount of money. Because— What motivates you? At certain point, it doesn't it doesn't matter anymore. It becomes just a scorecard. You know, just make extra money and stack in a bank account or in you know in a money market account or investment account. Whatever you are stocking the money on it, but you don't feel anything. It's not fulfilling anymore. I can't get excited because I just make $100,000. Hey. It doesn't change anything. It sounds good, but I can be more excited if I help somebody make $100,000 or even $10,000. It's more fulfilling to me than that. So that's why I always— I believe we should teach other people how to fish more than fishing. Yes, you can help somebody with a little cheap boat, But help the person in a pattern of going fishing. Don't just feed somebody, because whenever you want to neutralize a person, you need— you start feed a person. If you want to hurt somebody, give to the person for no reason, just keep blow the person with a gift. That's a way to paralyze people. That's a way to, you know, to— To— To to to to dump a person so the person can become weaker and weaker and weaker. But if you truly want to help somebody, show the person how to do it. The Lord Jesus teach us that. The Lord Jesus that's what the Lord Jesus share with us. He say hey he he carried all the disciple and he teach them how to fish. He show them how to do it. He didn't do for them. He show them how to do it. Apollos did the same thing. You know, any leader, any great leader must carry his people through the process. If it's not, you can't really help people by doing for them. How about, you know, if you keep doing for them when you— and we know that you're going to be here just for a certain period of time. What are you going to do? What are they going to do when you die? And you're going to grow old, so your strength at certain at a certain level, you're not going to have the same strength again. So, in church, I think a businessman, a Christian businessman, must teach other Christians how to do business, more than just, you know, help them with a few money and buy them— when you buy them food in the morning, who's going to buy in the afternoon? Who's going to give them a dinner in the evening? you know, dinner. You can't do it alone. So if we empower— if we empower our people, we will all go up together. But if you're the only Superman, remember, if there's a problem in 4 corners, you're the only Superman. I don't care how Superman you are, you're not going to actually tackle those problems at the same time just alone. But when you empower people, you bring the whole community together. up and, uh, problem disappear. Take a look at, look at the example. Look at, let's compare the US with maybe Africa. Uh, here in the US, literally you can leave your door open, nobody's gonna come and steal your food. Nobody, I never hear that somebody stole food. Uh, maybe I'm wrong, but try that in Africa. Most thieves steal food. I'm not saying that there's no food in Africa, but you have people who have a basic problem. People steal water. Somebody will steal— you'll find your shoes on somebody else's feet. That's— it's not that they're really bad, they just need shoes. So what I'm trying to say is that when the whole community grow together, it eliminates certain type of problem. Just like here in the United States, you know, sometimes you may not even encounter certain type of problem. So you're saying that the But if you go back home and, you know, you go in Africa, you encounter those problems. You know, people will even steal stuff from your farm. They will come and steal and because they want to eat. And sometimes it's not like a group of, maybe one person will come and steal the whole thing. You may, then somebody may come, just come and steal just 2 potatoes, just 2, that's it. Another person will come and steal again, another person come. So you lose the whole farm. Because the 1,000 people from the village stole from you. So what I'm saying is that us as a leader, we have to add value to others. If you find a way, show your brother, share with your brother. Don't hold knowledge to yourself because the stronger your community is, the stronger, the stronger, you know, the more you empower other people, the stronger the community is going to be. Thank you. But if you have one extra Superman, it's still going to be poverty. That's why today, a male in an African nation, just like Cameroon, you have less than 5% of the population who are super wealthy, you know, but you have people right next door who can't afford just a little rice. to save their kids. So we must share knowledge. We must empower our people. We must show our people a way. Every time when God reveals knowledge to you, or when God gives you a gift, it's for people. It's not for yourself. That's why I always tell people, that's why Christians stay on earth, is to serve others. If it's not, the day you believe, God was going to rapture you.
