TEST YOUR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DREAM : PART 15 | iLEAD GLOBAL SCHOOL OF BUSINESS 365

In this motivational lecture, the speaker explores the concept of a "significant" entrepreneurial dream, arguing that true fulfillment comes from dreams that benefit others, not just oneself. He outlines three progressive stages of significance—first, doing something meaningful for oneself; second, doing something meaningful for others; and third, doing something meaningful with others. The talk then presents a sequential framework for maturing a dream: (1) dare to dream, (2) prepare to dream, (3) wear the dream (integrate it into one’s identity), (4) repair/maintain the dream (stay flexible and pivot when needed), and (5) share the dream (give ownership to others). A concrete example of a chicken‑distribution venture illustrates how a dream can evolve while staying true to its core mission. The speaker emphasizes that a dream must help others more than it helps the dreamer, urging participants to write down how their own businesses serve others, test their dreams, and prepare for upcoming practical business sessions.

Hey, my friend. Hey, let's as we close this today, man, I think this will be the best part of it. You know, sometimes as a human being, naturally we want to we I believe you and you and I we I mean we always want to live to please others. You know, if it today somebody asks you well, John, would you would you rather take a pain that, you know, let's say your child is very sick and some of the doctors ask you, well, could I transfer the pain on you so the child to be released? I'm sure most of us will say yes, do it, doctor. But if you let's say, well, I know you are in pain, can I transfer the pain on your child so you can leave, you can be relaxed? You'll be like, oh no, no, no, let me keep the pain, I'm good with it, right? As a human being, we want to treat others. We want others to benefit from what we do. We want others to profit from what we do. We want others to enjoy what we do. That's why we like to eat together on the table. We want— like to share our wealth. We like to share our dream because we want it to benefit others. Now the question today is that the question of significance. Does my dream benefit others? Does my dream benefit others? Jacques-Yvan Cousteau said, If you're a man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead, to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself. Wow, this is deep. And John say the first half of life has to do with getting the, with getting and gaining and learning and earning. The second half is more risky because it has to do with leaving behind the immediate. That's what Bob— Bufo. Bufo said. But the ability to answer yes to the significant question, does my dream benefit others, has come in stages for me. That might, that might be the same for you. Take a look at how— It unfold in my life, represented by these three statements. I want to do something significant for myself. That's the first statement that the John say, and you must answer the same way. It must be a I want to do something significant for myself. Very good. If you start from other, maybe you're not going to be in life to do it. If you take care of yourself, you could be in life to take care of other. If you feel yourself, you'll be strong. take care of others, right? The accomplishment of significant dreams comes only when a person has something to offer. So if you're nothing, what could you offer? I hear a guy who says, well, I'd rather be poor like everybody. And another person says, well, if you are poor, who's going to help the poor? Right? So if you're really sorry about the poor, become wealthy so you can help the poor. I think that's what John is saying here. Number 2. I want to do something significant to others, right? Just like what Mother Teresa said. I want to do something significant for others. I want to make sure I take my time, I take my life to bless others. Number 3, I want to do something significant with others, right? You do for yourself, you do for others, and you want to do with others. That's the true dream. Imagine I throw you a soccer ball, you're the best player, but I throw you on the field, you just play alone. It could be fun, but not for long. Let's say I throw you on the field and give you another guy, you guys play together. It can be fun, but not as, you know. But if there's so many players there, it's going to be really, really fun. Sometimes that's how dream is. You want to play with others, right? So Florence, Luther gives us the proper sequence when a dream matures sequentially. He says, number 1, dare to dream. To dream means taking a risk, stepping out of your comfort surrounding and situation. Taking a risk, stepping out of your comfort surrounding and situation. Sometimes we dream based on the— what we have as resources. Sometimes you want to just go way beyond. Normally your dream is supposed to absorb all your resources and you'd be dry. The dream has to bring the resource on its own. Number 2, prepare to dream. The setup determines the success. All is well that begins well. Preparation gives your dream a chance. You have to prepare. And I'm sure that's why you're here at this school. 365, you are learning, you are learning, and we are learning from each other. Number 3, wear the dream. You have to wear the dream. Put in— put on your dream. Your dream is not an addendum to your life. It is your life. I have a guy who asked me, Coach Ralph, so can I take different dream and put around my life and use this dream and then come back and use this one and then use this one? I'm like, you Are you kidding? Your dream is you. There's no difference between you and your dream. You are your dream and your dream is you. That's your DNA. That's why you have to make sure it's what you want to be. You can't call an eagle maybe another animal and when they fly, he fly, you call him an eagle. No. You have to wear your dream. You have to put it on. It have to— you have to breathe your dream. Repair your dream. Continue maintenance is needed to keep the dream going. Dream need constant tender love care. Sometimes you can start a dream and then gradually it can shift to another level because as you grow, as the season change, things change, and you have to have that flexibility to shift a little bit around. Let me use an example. Let's say you start and your dream was to Feed the whole town, right? With the chicken. That could be as simple like that. Like, hey, my dream is to you know I was talking to a guy called I think that was Abubakar, the guy in Guinea. He came to our retreat a few days ago. He said, "Hey, my dream is to make sure nobody is paying too much." People are paying ten dollars almost. He throw the number for a chicken that is coming from the Western. I want to raise so many chicken at the point that people can pay half of that. And this is going to low— it's going to enable people to keep more money and be able to eat chicken and enjoy life. I would say, wow, what a dream. So he saw something. He's so mad at it. He'd want to stop it. And he'd want to raise so many chickens so people can afford it cheaper. So something like this, he may start that, and later on, He may stop raising chicken, but start buying chicken from farmer, right? And maybe at the point he can just start the distribution of chicken. So you can see that he pivots a little bit with his dream, but it's still the same thing under the same mission. But the, the, the, the vehicle that he used to deliver that dream may shift a little bit. So that's why you always want to make sure you are flexible to repair the dream. Share the dream. The dream, you have to pass it on to others. Give them ownership and then accomplish the dream together. A dream is not worth, worth of a person's life if it does not benefit others. And it's not worth a person's life if it's not others are not fulfilled if the other cannot accomplish their own dream to it. So in other words, we have to make sure our dream will actually help others as it's helping us. Matter of fact, your dream must help others more than yourself. Your dream must be about others. And I think one of the coaches asked that question last time when we was, uh, you know, when, when we was doing the, the retreat. Put your dream to test. So your business, your organization, how does that help people? I'm sure you are creating job and all that. Could you write down how are you helping people while you accomplish your dream? Go ahead and put in the chat room, and then I will see you next week. Next week we will start something very, very, very, very powerful to cover the rest, the, the, the rest of this month and start the month of June in a very, very powerful way. We will hammer so hard in a business with different business ideas that you can put in practice immediately and then make money. Thank you so much for your attention. Go ahead and test all your dreams out of this and then come up with new resolutions. See you around.
