A mentor isn't optional. The speaker uses the Lone Ranger and Tonto to argue that no one succeeds alone. A real mentor knows you, loves you, and tells you the hard truths you need to hear.
So how important would you say having a mentor is? I just, I can't stress it enough. Yeah. I mean, I can't. I mean, I said I'm a cowboy. I say it all the time, you know, even the Lone Ranger had Tonto, you know, nobody can, you just can't, you can't go alone. You know, you can't go without somebody that loves you enough, knows your love language, knows your vision, knows your heart. You can't go along without somebody coming along saying, Hey, hang on, dude, you're struggling right here. Hey, I see this in you. To call out the hard things in you.
