This Is Why Every Business Needs A YouTube Channel In 2025

YouTube videos keep working months later, unlike Instagram Reels or TikTok. Prospects need seven hours of your content before buying. Film 3-4 unedited 45-minute videos monthly, then use AI tools like Opus Clips and ChatGPT to repurpose them into shorts, blogs, emails, and podcasts.

If you're a business owner, creative, or coach of any sort at all and you don't have a YouTube channel, then you're actually leaving potentially thousands of dollars, leads, sales, and long-term trust on the table. And no, I'm not talking about becoming a YouTuber. I'm talking about building a lead machine that sells while you sleep. Let's talk about it. So there's actually a huge misconception Whenever it comes to YouTube, because you think, oh, it's for vloggers, it's for entertainers like MrBeast. But being on YouTube right now for business owners is actually probably one of the smartest moves that you can make in 2025. Being on YouTube and creating content allows you to build a brand, build, uh, trust with your clients and your consumers, and it allows you to spend actually more time with potential leads and customers than any other platform does. Because if you think about it, if you put up an Instagram Reel, you'll get traction for maybe a day, maybe 2 days if you're lucky, but after that, basically is never seen again. With YouTube, it's basically evergreen content. It's content that never gets old. It's always in season. It's always going to be relevant. Whenever people search up something on YouTube or it pops up on their home feed, it's because they like watching that type of content, or they're intentionally looking for a solution to their answer, whether it's being entertained, learning a new skill, figuring out who is the best provider of a certain service in that area, whatever it is, they're already a warm lead by the time they get to your video because they have to physically click the video and choose to watch it. If you're on Instagram Reels, they just swipe, it pops up, they didn't choose to watch that video. So they're more than likely just gonna keep scrolling. So the biggest reason is it builds long-term trust and relationships. You can basically think of YouTube unlocking time because you get to spend unlimited hours with people across the world without actually having to be there in person with them. YouTube allows a lot more time, which in return builds more trust. And you can do this through podcasting educational videos, vlogs, tutorials, whatever it is. And the more time you spend with somebody, the more likely they are to buy. There's a stat by Google that says somebody is willing to buy something from you and your content only after they watch about 7 hours worth of your stuff. So you've gotta gain 7 hours of trust in order to get them to buy your service or product. So that's like a lot of Instagram Reels and TikToks versus making one YouTube video that's 45 minutes long. You're going to be spending a lot more time with a lot more people. And not just that, but it's going to be with people who actually are interested in what you're saying. YouTube also promotes older content. And so, for example, I posted a camera review video over the Sony FX30 probably almost 6 months ago and it is still one of my most viewed videos to this date. Like this last week, for example, it had 200+ views, and that was from 6 months ago. My Instagram post from 6 months ago, they're dead. RIP, they're not coming back. And so it's evergreen content. It never goes away. It's like a running treadmill, just keeps going and keeps going. The YouTube content really stacks up over time, and the compounding interest really adds up. Say I have a person watch my video from 6 months ago, which is very, very likely, and it is happening every single day. One good video can bring you leads for months, and the title of this video is 10+, but I guarantee you can get more than that if you're posting consistently. The next biggest reason is YouTube can actually be fed into every single other platform, especially with the AI tools out nowadays. So using these AI tools, you can actually repurpose the mess out of your content and it can be sent to Instagram Reels. You can use tools like Opus Clips. That's a free, free tip right there. Opus Clips is a great AI video editor. It puts captions and everything ready for you to post. You can use ChatGPT and Poppy AI, things like that, in order to create blog posts newsletter posts, emails that you want to send out to your email campaign people. You can also purpose that as a podcast or audio file on Spotify. I've actually done this for clients before. I, I've taken whole YouTube videos and created an ebook out of it or a course using AI. And so you just take the time to film 3 to 4 videos per month, and then you actually have content for everything else as well. Without having to film again. That's a life hack there that is probably gonna save you hopefully over 30 hours this next month. And one of the last reasons is YouTube is probably one of the platforms that you have to edit the least amount on in order to build a following and trust. Now, if you think of Sam Sulek, he started off and he still does videos like this, but he's grown to millions of followers He literally did not edit any of his videos. And so once this happened, everybody stopped doing the crazy edits with all the captions, transitions, B-roll, and all of those things. In order to build a personal brand now, all you have to do is make a connection and provide value to the consumers. And so if you're struggling with making the content, straight up set up a camera somewhere and just talk to it for like 45 minutes if you want. And I'm gonna challenge you, don't add music, don't add cuts. This will help you with communication and delivering what you're trying to say, as well as building the trust, because they're seeing who you genuinely are with your flaws and everything. That's why I'm such a big fan of podcasting, is because it is uncut. 99.9% of the time it is uncut, unfiltered. Straight up who that person is. So if I had any advice, is don't wait until you have it figured out before you start YouTube. Go ahead and start and be the authority that you already are in the real world. If you wait for the perfect time, you're never gonna be ready, so just go out and do it. If you want to learn more about these strategies and these systems, I'm hosting a 5-day Content Net Profits Challenge where I'm gonna teach you all the systems, all all of the strategies that took Howdy Media all the way up to multiple six figures using 98% organic content. Now I've spent 4 years studying this subject and it would be a disservice and I would feel like I would be disrespecting you if I didn't show you how to do it because it has changed my life. It has changed my clients' lives, not only their personal life, but their business life most importantly. And again, why did you get into business in the first place? To buy your time back. So this is going to accelerate what you're doing right now and give you that extra push and show you all the systems and strategies in order to do exactly that. So I'm going to leave a link in the description if that's you and you want to sign up. It's at the end of April 2025, and we'll see you guys in the challenge. Peace.
