This is a YouTube video titled "Are Death And Time Just An Illusion?" containing a philosophical conversation between two speakers discussing concepts of death, laziness, perception, and the nature of life as a process, recorded in January 2025. The speakers explore cognitive and physical analogies related to life and death.
Talking about death.
Is probably the only.
Thing worse than talking about laziness. Laziness is a part of your nervous system that you didn't choose, but that the body will always make easy look more attractive than hard. Death and time are both pretty much illusions.
Any thoughts on that? Death appears.
To be our.
Perception of the world, essentially, like our sensory instruments shut down.
Right.
So and this is how we know life. We don't know it any other way. I think that the first step on this journey of getting comfortable, the discomfort of death, happens cognitively. I am a form. I am animated now. I'm a process. Here. I'm very much candidly.
Like a flame.
In fact, I use oxygen and a carbon substrate, like a flame does, to produce energy, water vapor and carbon dioxide. I mean, I'm basically exactly a flame.
