Your exhale controls your nervous system more than your inhale. Try breathing in for 4 seconds, out for 6. Longer exhales activate your rest response and calm the tweaked feeling.

Quick biohacking tip for you. When you breathe in, your heart rate speeds up and it activates your fight or flight response. When you breathe out, it activates your parasympathetic rest and relax response. So if you're feeling tweaked right now, or at any time, all you have to do is take more time breathing out than breathing in. So if it takes you 4 seconds to breathe in, take 6 seconds to breathe out. Bonus points if you do it through your nose.
