Back in the early 1900s, this guy named Reverend Kellogg. You heard of him before? I think I have, yeah. So Reverend Kellogg started Kellogg's, and he believed that sexual desire was the root of all evil. And the cure for this was to create a food that would lower libido in humans, which was low fat food, cornflakes. And this guy was kind of a perv. He had all sorts of other bizarre practices that he was promoting, including female circumcision. But somehow, because of the power of marketing today, we think that this libido lowering food is health food. It's not. And that was the beginning of this anti fat thing. And then Crisco and companies like that figured out in the 50s, oh, we can sell this plant oil as being better for you than the more expensive fats that everyone uses. That was the same time that big tobacco was having people in lab coats say, you know, doctors recommend Marlboro the most. It was because our consciousness and our beliefs were manipulated.
