One time in my life, when she was about six or seven, my daughter, she got her first migraine. We went to a restaurant that used msg, and it was her only migraine that I think she's ever had. She was sitting in the back of the car going, what is going on in my head? There's this thing, and it was actually kind of. It was sad. And I realized, this is a migraine. You know what I did? We pulled over at the first Starbucks, and I got her a double shot of espresso, and I put three packets of sugar in it, and I gave it to her, and she drank it. And she goes, oh, this coffee's terrible. She's been drinking coffee since she was one. Coffee is not bad for children, as long as it's clean coffee. Now, this gets really, really funny because she goes, this is gross. But five minutes later, she was totally fine. Why? Because caffeine is one of the best treatments for migraines because of what it does to your blood vessels. And sugar provides glucose so you can pump out the extra glutamate from your synapses. So there you go. If you really feel like you're getting a migraine because of blood flow in the brain, you might try a good amount of caffeine, you might try some aspirin, and you might try some sugar and see what happens. Honey is a bonus point.
