Here are three signs that you have alarmingly low levels of testosterone, whether you're a man or a woman, and what you can do about it. Testosterone is the hormone of desire. Not just in the bedroom, but desire to make a difference in every part of your life and in the world. Low testosterone certainly affected my life in my 20s. And today, average testosterone levels are 50% below where they were 25 years ago. That's a disaster. Here's three signs to look for to see if you really might be experiencing this. Do you have low sex drive? If you're a guy, do you not have a morning kickstand? Are you just feeling less motivation in general for everything? Are you even depressed? You want to get your levels tested. For men, they should be between 700 and 1,000, no matter your age. And for women, it depends on where you are in your cycle. You want to work with a functional doctor to make sure that you get your testosterone level at the right time of your cycle so that you can standardize it to where you feel best. Levels can vary greatly. You want to get your inflammation down. Less inflammation equals more testosterone. Try the bulletproof diet. Eat more good fats. Cut out seed oils entirely. Also get your vitamin dake. That's vitamin D, A, K, E. Men with vitamin D deficiency have lower testosterone. You want vitamin D, blood levels between 70 and 90 nanograms per milliliter. You also want the cofactors, A, K and e. Look@vitamindake.com for full info. Also, this is critically important. Look for environmental factors that disrupt your hormones. Things like rubbing receipts all over yourself with bpa, drinking water that's not filtered, using cologne and perfume and air fresheners that disrupt your endocrine system. This really matters. And I strongly suggest if your levels are low and getting enough sleep and doing these three steps doesn't work, start on testosterone replacement therapy. Whether you're a man or a woman. It will give you your zest for life back. You like how you look. You like how your brain works. You like how you feel. It is part of a normal anti aging strategy. Show up the way you want to in the world. Have enough testosterone.
