This is a YouTube video titled "Psychedelics increase your consciousness?" containing a discussion between Sam Beam and Geo Quibuyen about the effects of psychedelics on consciousness, exploring ideas about non-local consciousness and neural pathways. The content is a dialogue but does not include Alicia Mackey Huber as a participant.
If our consciousness is non local, or at least some portion of it is. And by the way, I agree with you there. Then why is it that some pharmaceuticals, like psychedelics, have such a profound effect on us?
Wow. Well, I mean, I guess the best way I could describe that is just from my own personal experience. Right? Which is, you know, it's hard for me to say how it would be for mankind. I can only kind of speak to what I've personally experienced. I believe that psychedelics create new neural pathways in this antenna that allow us to access non local ways of perceiving the world. So I, I don't believe that, for example, psilocybin presents us with a hallucination per se. I believe that psilocybin reveals the illusion that we're already living.
