Ozempic works for weight loss only if you eat one gram of protein per pound of target body weight and do strength training like squats and pull-ups. Without both, you'll lose muscle along with fat. The speaker lost noticeable muscle in one week on the drug without these practices.

Ozempic is a miracle drug because being fat will kill you. So losing weight is a really good thing. However, if you use Ozempic wrong, it will break you. So it's only a miracle drug if you do two things when you're on Ozempic. Number one, you must get one gram per pound of target body weight of protein. And a couple times a week, you do the four exercises I talked about. Squats, push ups, pull ups. If you're not going to do those, don't take Ozempic because it could be really dangerous. If you do those things, you're going to maintain your muscle mass. Most people on Ozempic lose their muscle mass, which is dangerous. But you know what's more dangerous? Being obese. So if I was £300, I would use Ozempic. I have taken it one time to do a podcast about it. I felt like I was morning sick the whole time. I didn't want to eat anything. I lost muscle mass during that week. It was gross. But if I was £300, I would have done it so much. I believe it's dangerous to take it without enough protein and without enough exercise, but it's a miracle drug if you do those things.
