Modafinil is one of the most potent and most studied smart drugs, pharmaceuticals that are out there. It is really, really potent, is way better than Adderall. About five out of a million people can have an autoimmune reaction that's predicted by genetics. Ibuprofen does the same thing, which can cause a life threatening autoimmune skin condition. So it's very, very low incidence, but it does happen. And a very old post actually talked about what genetics you could get tested to see if you had that likely outcome. But Modafinil. I was on ABC Nightline. They flew to my house. I was the only guy willing to say I used it to get through business school. I got my Wharton MBA on Modafinil under a doctor's prescription because frankly, I had ADHD and I had mold toxin induced brain damage and I was going to fail out of school. I said, all right, I'm willing to do this. There's nothing wrong with enhancing your cognitive function, just like there's nothing wrong with enhancing your physical function as long as you're not doing more harm than you're willing to take.
