So it's not like all plants are the same. If you went out to the park and you just pick up some plants and eat them, you're probably going to end up in the hospital. Most plants are inedible, right? So the plants we do eat, are they all just amazing sources of nutrition? No. Some of them are barely edible, but they're better than starving. Some of them are reasonably edible, but they have a downside over time if you eat too much. And some of them, generally they don't have a lot of toxins and they're good for you. Things like broccoli and cauliflower are reasonably safe. I'm so glad everything you listed is something I like. Yeah, celery is good. Avocados are good. And all of them can have a downside. No plant is innocent. No animal protein is entirely innocent either. They just have less toxins on average.
