I used to be an Omega 3 fetishist. There was a time right when I was starting the biohacking movement where I'm like, oh yeah, high quality fish. I'll do three glugs. And you look at what excess Omega 3s do, they also oxidize. And even if you look at Ray Peet's work, who's not, all of his work is correct by a long shot. But he's got some very interesting perspectives on that. Too much EPA and even DHA will oxidize and will drive systemic inflammation. So we have a classical case of if something is good, more is better. And I went down that path. If you have an excess of omega 6, having an excess of omega 3 is better than just an excess of omega 6. Dropping omega 6 and dropping omega 3 together and still having adequate DHA and EPA around maybe 2 to 4 grams a day for most people is the upper limit. That's going to create the best inflammatory profile.
