Hello, I'm David Julian Price, the short guy who helps you walk tall. Today's not a tip like all the others. It's a little story that I want to tell you about why confidence is worth developing. Years ago, I was a primary school teacher. Now, I had heaps of confidence in front of 38-year-olds, but when it came to mixing with adults, I was a bit shy, and so I joined a public speaking club. The club I joined was Rostrum here in Australia, a great organization, and that changed my life. Now, you don't need to join a public speaking club, although I can suggest that's probably one of the best things you can do to build your confidence. But if you take all of these tips and follow them and apply them every single day, Then you'll find that your confidence does build. But this is why it's worth doing. Doors will open for you that remain closed or invisible at the moment. They certainly did for me. And so it's worth developing confidence because you just don't know where it's going to lead you. The doors that open for you are, as I say, some invisible. They're simply not there if you don't have confidence. But others just appear and they open for you. So it's well worth developing the skill of confidence.
