This is Confidence Tip 112. I'm David Price, the short guy that helps you walk tall. The tip is this: own the last 2 or 3 minutes. What I mean is this: when you're in a discussion, you may be in a meeting, and it's been going around here, there, lots of ideas, work on being the last person to speak. It might be something like this. Can I just check in? What we've been saying is that X is the problem and Y is the best solution, but Z is a possible solution as well. My view would be— and offer your view. Try and be the last person to speak. Now, maybe not literally the last person in the meeting, but one of the last people to wrap up the discussion. That shows real confidence.
