Hello, David Price here, the short guy who helps you walk tall. This is confidence tip number 38. Most fear is prediction, not reality. People imagine what's going to happen, and it very, very rarely does. So the fear is driven by what you think may happen, and it virtually never does. Your brain is wonderful at writing disaster movies, and it tells you all these things that could go wrong, and they convince you that they will go wrong, and all that does is create fear. And your confidence plummets. Don't buy into that conversation. Don't let it in. Don't tell yourself something bad's going to happen, because if you do, you'll just expect that it will and you won't be confident. If you're confident, don't let the conversation into your mind about what disaster is going to happen.
