David Price explains that confidence grows through repetition. The first presentation is terrifying, the second easier, and each time after that anxiety drops further. Do something enough times and fear turns into confidence.

David Price here, the short guy who helps you walk tall. And this is confidence tip number 44. Confidence comes with familiarity. What I mean by that is the more you do something, then you become familiar with doing that and your confidence builds over time. But what you're scared about now or reluctant about or anxious about now, other people found terrifying at some point as well. But they've overcome it through familiarity with doing it. It's a bit like this. You're asked to present something at a meeting, and the first time you're terrified. But the second time, it's a little bit easier. The third time, it's a little bit easier again. You get my drift. Once you become familiar with doing something, your confidence grows, and it grows a lot, and it grows quickly.
