This is Confidence Tip number 48. Confident people look like ordinary people. You don't have to be special. You don't have to look completely different. Sure, your posture and the way you look around the room matters. But confident people are just ordinary people, and they too are nervous or have been nervous. So the trick is to Acknowledge the nervousness, but then don't let it be your driver. Acknowledge them, and then learn how to harness them and get that little voice that's inside your head telling the nerves to go away, that they're not needed today. They can go out and have a coffee because you don't need them today. So confident people are ordinary people with nerves. Don't. Think that they're confident and have no nerves. They probably have some nerves and always have, and many would argue, always will. So will you.
