I'm David Price, the short guy who helps you walk tall. This is confidence tip number 86. I've met some people over the years who have had great difficulty saying no to their boss, to colleagues, to people in their social circle. Confidence People have boundaries. Saying no doesn't make you difficult. It tells people you value your time and you value yourself. Some people I've come across, as I mentioned at the beginning, have been asked extremely inappropriate things by a colleague and sometimes by their boss. They've told me that. In some circumstances they felt they had no option but to agree or say yes. A confident person wouldn't do that. A confident person would say no, that's crossing the line, or that's crossing the boundary. Being confident enough to say no to things that are outside what you want to do or outside what you believe is appropriate makes you confident. It tells people you value your time and you value yourself.
