As a first generation student, my parents didn't go to college and one of the biggest factors that determines if I would go is finances. And if I didn't have this opportunity to have a full tuition scholarship, I probably wouldn't have either gone to college or would have struggled along the way. The fact that there are people out there that would donate to help people like me get a college education, it's really heartwarming and inspiring and also just contributed to my motivation to continue and get my degree to go to college on a full scholarship. I think it's one of my parents like dreams come true and just to make them happy in that way was really special to me and not only on a personal level, made myself proud that I was able to achieve that. I would love to give a shout out to Mr. And Mrs. Niehaus for not only creating the program, but sponsoring me or being like my donors in specific. I think it's just such an amazing thing to do. It's almost unbelievable that especially in today's day and age, people like this exist. To create such an amazing program to genuinely want to help people like me get an education, it's truly inspiring and motivating. Also. It's just an awesome time. Changed my life.
