My mom didn't graduate high school, neither did my dad. And so being the first to graduate high school and then go off to a four year college was a life changing experience that, you know, my mom didn't think would be possible. She knew she couldn't afford to send me off to college without the help of scholarships and, you know, having brains to get me by. But it definitely was the most life changing experience being able to say I'm the first in my family to go to college and have graduated. It really is rewarding for not just us, but for anyone that is willing to just invest in our futures because what may be a little bit for someone else is really the entire world for, you know, someone that doesn't have so much. So I think that in both ways it's rewarding on both ends and can really be such a beautiful, beautiful thing. Without a scholarship, I truly don't believe that I would have been in college or this far or who knows what have happened. But I can definitely say that this scholarship has changed my life. To Mrs. And Mr. McCormick. I am forever blessed and forever grateful to have had met you guys, for you guys to have funded my college career and made all things possible for me. I have no words other than thank you. And you guys are such amazing individuals for really just taking a chance on students and not just myself, but me, others and all the future students that you know receive this scholarship. When I go to Mercy events and I see the scholars and how grateful they also are, it just really shows what an amazing thing this school and what these donors are doing for us. So thank you and you know, I hope that anyone will consider giving us a chance.
