Good morning, everyone. I hope you're having a better Saturday than I am. Just got the news. That's right. I can't believe it. I can't believe I got Covid. I made it all this way years. I got the vaccine, I got the booster, yet here I am, sick as a dog with my awesome radio voice. I guess there's an upside to everything, but I wanted to shoot this quick video to talk about a couple things, accountability and gratitude. So I'm not really gonna be talking about business today. So back end of March, I made this commitment to myself that I was gonna record a video a day the entire month of April. And here we are on the 30th day, the last day of April, April 30th. Sick as a dog. But, you know, my friend Analyne Dickelman was doing this, and I thought I would step in and be a little unreasonable with myself. I hope you're unreasonable with yourself and take this on. I don't think any of us like being in front of the camera, but here I am, and it's been an amazing journey these past 30 days. And I mean, I, you know, I've been watching Adeline's videos, and I have to tell you, she's so much better on camera. I think I'm so much better on camera, actually. People have told me that. So, you know, so accountability. You know, this was a great test for me to see if I could step up and do something for 30 days. And I was able to. So it proved to me that, you know, anything is possible if you set your mind to it. So hopefully, maybe I was an inspiration to you. So. And then I want to talk about really quick about gratitude. You know, I'm so grateful for everyone who's kind of followed me on, on this journey these past 30 days. I know many of you have seen these videos and have reached out to me and, you know, complimented me on how good I'm on camera, which I've always had an issue with and thought I was horrible, and have told me that you've seen it. So seen the videos and appreciate the videos. So I really want to thank everyone for being on this journey, supporting me these last 30 days. And hopefully you learned a few things about video, video marketing, about your life. I tried to kind of mix it up, both business and personal. Today's a little personal, but just so much to be grateful for. You know, here I am, you know, sick as a dog with, you know, Covid, but, you know, things could be a lot worse, I think that we kind of forget. You know, one of the things I. I say to myself every morning is I'm grateful to be alive. I'm grateful for my health and body of mind. Granted, today I'm not so happy about it, but I am grateful that, you know, we have this vaccine and that I could be, you know, a lot worse than I am. So I'm really grateful for that. So, again, thank you for being on this journey. I want to inspire you all to shoot video in your life. It doesn't have to be about business. I know Mother's Day is coming up next Sunday. I'm not sure if you're going to be with your parents or you'll be speaking with your parents. I really want to encourage everyone to take advantage of the ease that it is to shoot video. One of the things that I share with a lot of people, I'll mention it to you here, which is the 20 questions you need to ask your parents. I came up with this for my legacy video business. And there's just so much we don't know about our parents. And the greatest thing about this, and certainly shooting on a video, but it just opens the door to conversations that would never happen. So if you're going to be seeing your parents or going to have an opportunity, I'll give you an example. One of the questions, if you want all 20, just reach out to me. But what are the three best decisions you've ever made in your life? And you all can record this. You don't have to be, you know, in your 60s, 70s, or 80s. So I'll tell you my three. Number one, quitting my job after two years in Texas at TI and moving to Hollywood knowing no one and getting it to special effects. Number two, traveling the world for six months with my buddy Ken Flaherty. What an amazing experience. And then last, proposing and marrying my wife, Adrian. So we all have so much to be grateful for. I'm certainly grateful for the decisions I made, and hopefully you're grateful for the decisions you made and it might inspire you to have those. Those conversations that have a lot of meaning. So thanks for watching these 30 days. I need to drink and find ways to leverage your smartphone and shoot video in your life. You'll get a lot out of it. Thanks again. I'm going to go back to binge watching on Netflix. Have a great weekend. Thanks for being part of this journey. And if you shoot any videos, share them with me. I'd love to see them take care of you.
