It's hard enough to get a customer to write a Google review. How are you supposed to get them to give you a video testimonial? My name is David Vogel, owner of Remote Video Testimonials, and Today is day four of my 30 day video challenge. For the entire month of April, I'm going to create a video a day with the hopes of inspiring you in your life, personally and professionally. Video testimonials might be the most effective way to attract new customers, build trust and grow your business. Today, I want to share five tips to help you persuade your customers to do a video testimonial. Ask at the right time so the best time to ask a customer for a video testimonial is right after you complete a job. The experience is fresh in their mind and they're so appreciative that it won't seem like such a big ask. Tip 2 Ask in the right way Perhaps the most crucial factor when asking for a video testimonial is how you ask as much as it is so easy to send an email or a text message, remember your customer is doing you a favor. Take the time to ask them in person or give them a phone call. Let them know how much you appreciate them as a customer. Tip number three Ask customers for the right reasons. They know how hard it is to find someone that you can trust who will get the job done. Remind them that by doing a video testimonial, they're making it easier for others to determine if you are someone they can trust. Tip number four make it fast and easy People are going to assume it's going to take a lot of time and that they're going to have to maybe go to a studio. It is crucial that you make it as easy and as fast as possible. Remember, they're doing you a favor. At Remote Video Testimonials, our process is remote, which means we can do it whenever and wherever is convenient for a customer. It also means that we can take as little as 30 minutes or less to do it. Tip number five make video testimonials part of your terms now. If you're ever in a sales negotiation and a client wants something extra from you or a discount, this is your opportunity to ask for a video testimonial as part of your terms. I recommend that you include it in your contract so that there is no dispute later. Getting your hands on video testimonials isn't easy, but once you've got them, they can be some of the most valuable pieces of content that you have I hope you found this helpful. Thanks for watching in the comments. Let me know how it's worked for you to get customers to agree to do a video testimonial. Please follow me and be sure to like and share this post and I'll see.
