We were looking for treatment because I was first diagnosed in November of 2008, and this facility and its closeness and proximity worked out to be a perfect choice for us. One of the things that we noticed was it was a very personable facility. When people communicated with you and talked with you and explained things in language that the patient could understand as well as the caregiver could understand. You don't feel like you're in a hospital situation or even a medical facility necessarily. It's almost like you're dealing with family and friends. And that type of environment is conducive to putting a patient at ease so that the treatment can be effective or more effective because they're in a relaxed environment. The treatment that I have received here at the center has been so good to the point that we actually have some family as well as friends that have been here for treatment, and some that are even, in fact, are currently in treatment here. And I think that's says a lot that people that I've connected with agree that this is the best place to come to. The medical team at the center for cancer and blood disorders is probably the best one around the Dallas Fort Worth area, bar none. There may be bigger facilities, but I don't know that they're necessarily better facilities.
