Selumi Decision Base is a business simulation where teams manage a company through strategic decisions on R&D, marketing, production, and finance. Participants compress 5 to 10 years of experience into 1 to 2 days, competing dynamically while learning leadership and decision-making in groups of 4 to 6 teams.
How did this happen? We followed all the rules. But why won't customers pay what a product is worth? And now another competitor. We can't handle it unless I present my idea to the team. It's simple. We work together with Delta, our competitor in the domestic market while investing in a development of a new product for the future. No, we can't afford it. It costs too much to develop a new product and redo the production on a new market all at the same time. I don't understand. Everything seemed to be going fine. We had a good, not too complicated product on a tested and stable market. We developed a new product everyone thought would be a big seller. Now suddenly the problems are piling up on top of the other. We had a great plan. A seams competition got ahead of us. We are eaten alive from left and right.
