But I'm here with a company called seven Taps. I'm an honor to be one of the co founders and we focus on microlearning for performance enablement. I only have a couple of minutes, but I'm going to take the first minute and a half to see if we can watch a TikTok together, which kind of outlines the problem that we see in the space of, you know, training, sales enablement, like in. In the space of sales enablement, training in particular. So I'm going to hit play and we'll watch this together.
I really miss from my time in corporate sales is lifelessly clicking through online trainings. Shout out to pretend learning. If you're unfamiliar with corporate online trainings, here's how the game works. The training department will upload the course, then they will email the sales team letting them know it's available to take at any time and the due date, usually 30 days from when they post it. Now, here's the thing. For the next 29 days, no salesperson will even constantly contemplate taking it. It would just go against everything that we stand for. Then day 30 arrives. You get an email from your boss. It's marked urgent, of course, letting you know that this training is due by the end of the day. There's going to be exclamation points, lots of caps. Demons love to be dramatic via email. Shout out to George. So then we open the training and we click through every slide without reading it. We will never read any of the course in any situation. We're just getting to the quiz. Most of the trainings have the quiz at the end. You, you had to get like 80% or better. That's how you got credit for it. So we just click furiously and see if we can pass it. On the first attempt, if you were good, you could maybe get it first or second. Usually one person on the team would pass it and then they would tell everyone else the answers. Most of the time, if you failed it, it would just say unlimited tries. You could just take it again and again and again. I know at some point you're thinking, like, wouldn't it be quicker just to read the course and do it? That's not the point. You're missing it. You're not in sales if you think reading it and saving time makes any sense here. But once in a while the tries were unlimited. You would fail at the first time and it would say three tries left. Which I always thought like, or what? What's going to happen? You know, like, if we fail it Three times we explode. What happens? Shout out to fake consequences. One thing.
So I don't know if that resonates. It certainly resonates with me in that, you know, the, the, you know, I've been through a lot of corporate learning and it can be dull and boring and, and I fail to understand what the benefit is.
And so my screen is doing something a little wild here, but we'll get it going. So at seven taps we wanted to try and change that kind of dynamic. And so if you have your phone in front of you, I invite you to scan this QR code. What's going to happen is you'll instantly be in a seven taps course. So what we are, if I describe us at a high level, it's a way to author fun and engaging content and then deliver it to learners on any device and really resolve the accessibility challenge. Because what was described in that TikTok is you have to go into like a learning management system and go and click through this furiously as opposed to making this available to your sellers when they need it the most on their own device. So that for us we have a lot of customers that are for example med device companies and their sellers need quick refreshers as they walk into doctor's offices and they don't have laptops in front of them. And the way we all learn is actually changing. If I'm going to go and learn something, this is the device I'm going to reach for first and, and seven taps is really good at that delivery mechan and kind of what our focus are, is making training that's making learning that's targeted, useful, mobile first memorable and scalable and making it really easy for both the sales enablement team and for the sellers and do it in a way where it's respectful of that adult learner, respectful of their time. Across our platform, each course takes about two minutes and this is across hundreds and hundreds of customers developing all different types of training. So if you can think about taking, you know, what used to be a 30 minute rollout and condensing it down to maybe three 2 minute courses, you know, all the science shows, you're like, you're addressing the forgetting curve, you're taking advantage of things like space repetition, you're delivering this in a format that, that your team might like better and, or will like better and it's going to be more memorable and it's going to change behavior as opposed to, you know, just delivering training and marking course completion rates. And these are like some our customers that are using this from everything from event reinforcement to product launches and skill building and comms updates. You know, I listened to a lot of the sessions today and there was a lot of talk about AI. And it's in every conference that I go to now. And I think like the thing that for me really kind of resonates and it was brought up by a few different speakers, is that AI takes care of a lot of like the mundane tasks and it's going to give us all time to be a lot more human. And it's really going to make it more important that we're more human than ever. And so upskilling your sales team.
On soft skills, on knowledge of your products is going to become more important than ever. And the other thing with AI that I'll just mention, and the last thing I'll mention is for the most part people don't know what they need to know. They don't know where the gap is. And so there is going to be an ongoing need for curated content that is delivered to learners. And I think we really hit the nail on the head in terms of a delivery mechanism. The other thing that we do well is help you create content really quickly so that you can move at the speed of business, so you can move from instead of it being a few week process between drafting and making changes and updates, to coming up with an idea of a training you want to push out and delivering it within the next day and so that you're really moving at the speed of the market. You can see an example of this@7taps.com and if I have a couple of seconds left, I can even pull up a quick demo and just show you what this might look like. And so give me one sec, I'm just going to switch over. Do I have some time, Gerhardt?
I'd love to see the demo.
Okay, so I'm in the 7 tabs console now and what I'm going to do is I'm just going to click on Create. We have a bunch of different creation options to create training, but I'm going to transform a static document which is just a doc. I'll show it to you. You can transform documents or videos or anything like that into quick micro learning. But I'm just going to pick a document and it's a price update communication protocol like an SOP or something that I just drafted just to for the sake of the demo and I'm going to click generate. And what we're going to try and do is go and generate a course within the next minute of how your team might be better at communicating price changes.
To their customers. And so what we're doing here is we're just going and doing, like, a content analysis of the document I updated, uploaded. And we also, behind the scenes, have, like, you know, our founder, Kate is really an experienced learning designer, and she really understands, you know, some of the concepts in learning that we talked about that really drive behavior change. And so what we're trying to do is take that content and put it into a format using the seven taps method of really, you know, focusing on driving behavior change as opposed to delivering some flat material and getting some, you know, marked completion rates, which is the way the learning industry has generally measured themselves. I think completion rates are very much a vanity metric. It doesn't show that your sellers are more capable. It doesn't show that they're more confident. And as a matter of fact, I've been a marketer for most of my career, and I never once measured the completion rate of a blog post. That was never important to me. What was important to me was, did I drive the next action for. For the person reading it? Did they click on the link? Did they sign up for the webinar? So here's an example course. It says when you lead with value, the price goes up. And it's got assessments in it. It even has a little AI video where it attempts to, you know, frame this and why the seller should care about it. So, you know, we had a client say, we can't absorb another increase, but then we talk the numbers and then, you know, and then everything shifted. And you can include all different types of assessments in your 7T, anything from role plays to quizzes and polls, and really get pulse checks and understand how your learners feel about the topic you're presenting to them. Once you create a course, you can theme it and brand it, and then we support deployment through any and all of these different channels so that you can reach your learner where they hang out most. Are you a Slack organization? Is that where your sales team hangs out? Deliver it to them in Slack. Are they in Microsoft Teams? Or are they a mobile workforce? And you need to get it to them via sms? And you can use any and all of these at once. And if you want to see the course that we just created, some of those videos are still rendering, but you can definitely get access to it instantly on any device with no software installed, no logins, no passwords, and reduce friction for learners so that you can have ongoing conversations with your sales team in a way that is.
Very easy to get to something that feels production ready and polished, but at the same time moves really fast, moves at the speed of business and addresses challenges. And also very respectful of their time. And in a format that we're all addicted to anyway, which is this mobile device format. You know, we all, we all see our screen times rising every single week. And so, you know, and as your team moves through these courses, you can see all of the analytics gathered behind the scenes so you can understand, you know, how people feel like when they answer this poll. What's the hardest, what's the hardest about leading with in value when the price comes up? And this lets you very quickly address those knowledge gaps that exist. So if it's like, I don't have the ROI numbers memorized, you can, you can then go and help your team with that in a very fast and efficient way.
I don't know how I did on time. I think I'm about there.
You did really great. I have a quick question. Can you go back to this?
I'd like to know, how would you edit? Let's say I'm, I'm on the page now. The moment you apologize for price, you have made it about cost. Lead with the wins. Instead, let's say I want to edit that, that slide. How do you do it?
Yeah, yeah. Which slide? Like right at the beginning?
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Every. Everything is fully editable. So this just presented a draft, so I can go and type in whatever else I want. Like, you can, you can add in, you know, any text, you can delete text. And as soon as you make edits, it's rolled out to everyone. You can even add in, like, all different types of images and GIFs. So like, or, or whatever else you want to add to, you know, create a course that's more rich without needing graphic design or extensive design experience. So what we've done is we've kind of, you know, built out a framework for this using these 11 different building blocks, and each are independent. So like a quiz is really easy to set up. You ask a question, wherever this green dot is, that's the correct answer. And then as people move through, all of the analytics flow to you, all very editable. I can edit the script on this video. I can choose different avatars. So what we do is we analyze the content and we present a draft and then it's up to you to go and make it your own and you can see, like the video.
Last month, a client said we can't absorb another increase Has a nice feel.
To it and it allows you to really generate engaging content that's interesting and different quickly.
So how would you translate that into French?
Yeah, of course. So let's do it, since you asked. So let's just go to translate here. And we support about 35 different languages currently, so I'm just going to check off French, unless you want another one as well. And we're just going to make a copy of this course in French and we can also add in some linking and branching so that you can, you can give your learner a choice to switch back to the English version. So I can go quite a video. What's that?
Can you play the video?
The video will take another few seconds to render in French, but she'll absolutely speak French and I can share it with you.
Okay, I got it.
Yeah. So we're regenerating the video, but she speaks French as well. Yeah, yeah.
That is amazing.
Well, thank you.
Thank you.
Because it is so fast and.
So comprehensive, you know, now I understand the full dimension behind the idea of seven Taps.
Well, I think when you're doing, like, enablement, like there's three different things that you think about as enablement, especially around content, where you're deploying messages to a large amount of people and that's that you need to create, you need to share and then you need a measure. And those are the three things that we kind of focus on. It's giving you the ability to create something production ready quickly, share it with learners across any channel and then do the analysis. And like, that's a discipline I took from marketing also, where, you know, you get, you get something out the door and then you get some, you know, metrics around it and you understand, you know, how you refine this and how you kind of get closer towards, you know, your goal of whatever it is in 10x ROI or whatever it is. And, and we want give, you know, sales enablement teams that same capability so that they're really kind of focused on performance outcomes as opposed to training.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the organization. So there's no, like, we, you know, if you, we have a free edition that's free for everyone. So if you go to 7taps.com, you can sign up for free. It lets you build out a proof of concept, get a feel for it. And we would definitely talk to you about, about, you know, price metrics and how that works.
Could students of Stephanie's university use that?
Yeah, yeah, we have, we have a few different arrangements with different professors actually when we attended a learning conference recently and there's like this whole herd of students that comes by and we love it because it's, you know, we're a product led company so you know, just showing how the product works and cultivating, you know, we're also, we also talk to, you know, we kind of have a, a top down approach to sales, but also a bottom up approach to sales and that the product does a lot of the hard work for us. So it's a product that works. I'm never afraid to show it off in a live demo. I'm, I'm, I, you know, I, I know this time the demo God smiled upon me and, and didn't crash the whole thing. Which does happen, you know, with other products. But our product works. So it's, it's always fun to see people and, and what they build with it.
Like the video as run.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
And I'll just show you, you can also like this is the automatic, automatic tone. But if you go through like the language options, we have like different, you know, language choices and how you want somebody. Like, I guess for French we only have one or two, but for some other languages we have tones that you can apply as well.
Stephanie, what do you think?
I think this is great. Is there a limit on how much you can create or, you know, is it, is it based on the size of the organization or how much content or how many things that you'd like people to go through or how does that work?
Yeah, so on our free tier, like for your students, they can create as much as they want. You know, we give some AI credits. So if they're using our AI creation tool at some point that's going to cost us a lot of money. But you can also create from scratch in which there's no limit. So I can just go and open the creator tool and start building. But then the limit on the free edition is that they can share up to two courses at any time, but you can swap which courses are actively shared. So you can like. I can enable sharing on a course and then disable it so, so that, you know, so the free edition is great for like helping you build a portfolio or, or you know, going through a small proof of concept or something like that. And, and yeah, it's, it's definite available.
Great. I love it. I love how it taps into our nature of not really wanting to spend that much time on learning, even though we need to learn. It's so important. But I mean at the very Beginning of the call. You made a really good point. As you get this training or the, the TikTok video made a great point of. You get this learning that you have to do and you dread it because you don't necessarily see the value of it. You know, it's going to take a lot of your time and then you wait till the last minute, you just get through it and click through. I mean, I've seen that happen so many times even here as a professor. And we're supposed to focus on learning where we just don't see the value of learning something. But if you give them that opportunity to learn that small thing and see the value, they'll realize it's not so bad and they're probably going to click through. When people go through this, what's the average number of learnings that they click on in a session?
Yeah, it really is up to how our customers architect it. But I can create a series of courses on a topic that also have a progression in knowledge where that also, you know, triggers some additional like, you know, comprehension and understanding and remembrance. Right. So like, if you have like that knowledge progression and you can drip it out automatically, it's called the learning path in seven Taps and a lot of other tools. And so it's fully automated. You build out a series of courses and you can deliver them to a learner over time. You can also make available a learning space for a learner where you have like curated courses for them to go through. But across our platform, each course takes about two and a half minutes for a learner to complete. And that's across all different industries and everything like that. And so you know what, what we really talk about a lot is you can do your half an hour training or you can do three 2 minute trainings and get about the same result and potentially even better results with three 2 minute trainings. Because space repetition is proven. It's not like theory. It's if you give learners two minutes today and two minutes tomorrow and two minutes the next day, it addresses the forgetting cur and they'll remember more.
Perfect. Well, thank you so much, Ezra. That was amazing. I recommend anybody who wants to learn more, go to 7taps.com or can you show that QR code one more time?
Yeah, sure. We also have, you know, a little virtual booth here, so definitely visit the booth as well. But let me just pull that up.
Yeah. Oh, I just navigated to our site. Sorry, everything's falling apart now. It's not. Yeah, 7taps.com and, and this is just a sample course. So if you want to see a sample course, there's also a link to book a demo with us at the end of that. If you want to see more of the tool, we just covered the 10 minute version, so.
Thank you. Great job, an amazing presentation and an amazing solution and great insights. And congratulations on your creativity, making learning easier for everybody.
Well, thank you so much and thanks for the opportunity.
