This is a YouTube video titled "Barbara Corcoran says “Housing Prices are going to go Through the Roof” 🏠 📈" containing a monologue discussing Barbara Corcoran's views on the current real estate market bottleneck, pent-up demand, and predictions of a significant rise in residential housing prices over the next 6 to 12 months. The speaker contrasts residential real estate trends with commercial real estate, noting high vacancy rates in commercial properties. The content is an analysis or commentary rather than a conversation.
Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran earlier this week said the real estate market is in a bottleneck. Yeah, that Barbara Corcoran, the multimillionaire on Shark Tank, the huge real estate mogul. She says that it's kind of been due to pent up demand and sellers have been reluctant to sell their home because they don't want to give up their low rate and jump into a higher rate. And buyers have been reluctant and kind of been on the sidelines because they're getting less house for the same payment they could have gotten a couple years ago. It's kind of ironic. These are the things we've been preaching to our client base for years now about how when rates were low, that was the time to buy because house prices were going to go up, house price prices went up and now we've got a little bit of a bottleneck with rates going up on top of that. But it's all pent up and it's going to explode in a good way. She's calling for a 20% house increase in the next six to 12 months. That's pretty high side. It's probably a little more aggressive than I might say, but I'm following the same path. I have to agree in looking at the stuff every day. This is what we've been advising our clients for months now. So it's all waiting on rates to drop. When rates drop, it's going to hit the fan. House prices are going to go up. She's calling for another Covid real estate boom. So realtors buyers be on the lookout. The time to buy us now here's another super super expert in the space calling for the same thing we've been calling for for quite some time. But make sure you differentiate it. This is residential real estate that we're talking about commercial, not quite the same. She says people are staying home. Commercial office buildings aren't in as much a demand. And most cities around the country there's a 20 to 50% vacancy factor, meaning it's almost half empty. So people aren't buying up commercial spaces, but residential real estate, it's about to explode.
