This is a YouTube video titled "🚨 Bidding over Asking Price 🚨" containing a monologue or single-speaker commentary from July 21, 2021, discussing housing market trends, price increases, and financial considerations for buyers. The speaker provides examples of price appreciation and advises on the cost-benefit of paying over asking price in the current market.
More helpful tips for dealing with today's housing markets. I used the example of a $300,000 house. This time last year, houses on average went up about 15% in the last 12 months. That'd be 345 today. The economists are calling for another 10%, which put this house around 380 this time next year. Now this game would be 2875 per month. So if you had to, for example, pay $5,000 more to get the house today, you'd get that back in two months. If you had to pay $10,000, worst case, you get that back in four months. So don't let these small amounts hold you up from getting this big gain. SA.
