This is a YouTube video titled "Derek AI & Relationships" containing a monologue or talk recorded in July 2025 discussing the integration of AI in professional workflows to enhance client interactions by delegating routine tasks, thereby allowing more meaningful and timely conversations. The speaker emphasizes AI as a tool to augment rather than replace human roles, improving availability and service quality.
I think it's a hybrid. I think of it more as leveraging the AI so that my people and myself can do what we do best and not replacing everybody. But, hey, if we could take half of this workload off, because that's the half we could delegate to AI, well then we could get on the phone and we could have more of those quality conversations with clients. So I don't look at it as if we're losing touch with it. I think we're gaining touch with it. Because, heck, if I've got more stuff off my plate, I can go have more meaningful conversations. That's where our position is. Any of us as originators, like, you're the person, you're the pinnacle, you're the pinpoint for your operation. But if you're smart, stuck in the weeds on things you could possibly delegate, well, then you can't get back to that next client. You are slower. That's the client service that they want. They want you to be quick and on point. When they call, they want to be able to access you. So if you can get other stuff off your plate because you have AI set up and you have a team and you have things delegated in our system and process, well, then you are more available. I think it'll make us better.
