Getting prepared to purchase a new home can be confusing or even sometimes kind of scary. But we have many ways we can help make this a lot simpler. So usually when people are getting ready to buy a house, they want to know, how much can I qualify for? What's the monthly payment look like? How much do I need to have saved out of pocket? And is there anything I can do to get myself in an even better position, like boosting the credit or improving the documented income? The one trick is to do this proactively. So if not, one of two things will usually happen. The perfect house pops up all of a sudden, then, oh, shoot, we got to cram everything in to make an offer by midnight tonight. Or we look at everything, we get a game plan together on boosting credit, let's say. But there's not enough time to execute that game plan. So if you do this way, before you go out looking at houses, you're prepared, you save yourself a lot of money. That's the trick to it.
