This is a YouTube video titled "Homes are Still Best Investment" containing a monologue or presentation discussing recent trends in home values compared to other investments like stocks and Bitcoin, emphasizing the long-term growth and relative stability of real estate as an investment. With the latest monthly housing report set to come out in the next couple days, we may see another month over month decrease in home values. And you might start seeing the headlines come out again that it's a bad time to buy a house. But will those headlines tell you that since 2012, home values are up 115%? Meaning if you bought a house 10 years ago, you've already more than doubled your investment? All that we're seeing is home values were going up at a 20% pace and now it's calmed down to 13%. That's a 35% reduction, but still moving forward in the right direction overall. And heck, if you look back in 2018, when home values dropped from a six and a half percent increase down to a 3% increase, they lost over 50% then. But I think we'd all go back to 2018 and still try to buy a house with those house prices if we could. It was still a great time to buy. And heck, the stock market lost 6% that year. So I'd still rather have homes increasing at 3% than stocks decreasing at 6%. Flash forward to today again. Home values now are pacing a 13% increase. But look at the S&P 500. It's down 16%. Bitcoin's down 65%. So even in the worst of the worst times, homes still outpace the rest of the investing field.
