This is a YouTube video titled "🦠Pandemic’s Impact on Housing Market 🦠" containing a monologue by Patrick Wieland discussing recent trends in the US housing market, Covid-19 case numbers, vaccination rates, and their effects on mortgage rates and investor behavior as of July 2021.
Things in the housing market that you may not know about. There were less than 30,000 new Covid cases per day, every day last week. This is the first time since last June that's been the case. Cases are definitely tapering off as the economy is certainly reopening. Almost half of the US Population has had at least their first dose of the vaccine, so look for mortgage rates to continue going up. Investors are feeling more comfortable jumping into stocks, weakening the bond market that hurts mortgage rates.
