More good news for interest rates. We talked about last month's good inflation data that came out last week and how it'd be good news, but it take the market a second to digest it. Well, the market's taking it in and now it's responded. Now more eyes are being focused on the Fed. When are they going to start cutting rates? There's actually traders in the market that bet and place odds on these types of things. 7% of the market traders believe the federal cut rates at their upcoming meeting July 31st. The other 93% to round out the whole 100% believe the federal cut rates that they're following meeting September 18th. I've talked about it. Inflation is going to be the driver of mortgage rates as they come down. Rates will follow. But the Fed cutting their rates in today's market could be the match that lights the flame for mortgage rates to accelerate even further lower.
