Derek McGowan is hosting a Widow Wednesday event at the Glass House in Kansas City on June 23rd from 4-7pm. After losing a spouse, widows and widowers face emotional, financial, and logistical overwhelm. McGowan Mortgages is sponsoring the event to help people navigate this transition with care.
We spend all day helping people buy and sell homes, but I think sometimes we forget a home is so much more than just another transaction. For a lot of widows and widowers, that home holds decades worth of memories and family gatherings, milestones, entire life built with the one that they loved.
