Little green herons are crow-sized birds that live in ponds and marshes. They use tools like sticks and feathers to lure fish to the surface, then spear them. Both parents share egg duty, making the males what the narrator calls wholesome.

I'm a photographer and I took these pictures. What do you know about the little green heron? These chunky little guys are about the size of a crow, but unlike crows, they prefer to hang out in ponds and lakes and swamps and marshes. The little green heron is incredibly intelligent, one of the smartest birds around. In fact, Little green herons will use tools to help them fish. They'll use sticks or feathers or rocks in order to draw fish up to the surface before they stab them with their very sharp beaks. Look, here's a baby little green heron. See their fuzzy little heads? The male and female green herons will take turns sitting on the nest because their dads are very wholesome. So check them out when you see them around, and thanks for watching.
