Don from WDO Photography visits Shanley Park looking for an owlet he calls Muppet. He didn't spot her today but heard a sound that might have been her, though a mockingbird was nearby making similar calls. He's heading back at dusk with his camera to try for photos.
Hey, it's Don from WDO Photography, and I am back in Pittsburgh's Shanley Park just checking on Muppet the Owlet. I didn't see her today, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm hoping that she's somewhere safe and tucked away where she can't be disturbed by people like myself. So, um, did hear something that sounded like it could possibly be her, but I'm really hoping that it was a mockingbird. Yesterday there was a mockingbird that Also is here making similar sounds. So fingers crossed that's what it was. I am coming back tonight and hoping that we will get a chance to see her. So if so, I'm gonna bring the camera and try to get some pictures of it, and we'll share those with you if I'm successful. If not, I'll share some great photos of the full moon with you instead.
