In this presentation, Donna Brown introduces the "Agents of Change" movement, urging online entrepreneurs—particularly women—to harness the untapped potential of their social media followers, Facebook groups, and other digital tribes to support a wide range of social causes. She explains how many creators have built abundant businesses and communities that are typically used for client work and product sales, but can also be redirected toward positive change. Brown outlines practical ways to contribute—donations, time, expertise—and invites listeners to join a dedicated Facebook group, display an Agents of Change logo, and collectively address issues such as animal rights, human rights, environmental protection, education, and more. She emphasizes that even small actions matter, cites the Dalai Lama’s belief that Western women will save the world, and calls for a unified, enthusiastic effort to turn digital influence into tangible social impact.

Hi, I'm Donna Brown, and I'm here to talk to you about this amazing idea and movement that has been right under our noses, and we haven't even noticed that it's there. And it's something I called Agents of Change. And what is it? It's a movement of people who are It's that untapped resource that all our social media followers, our tribes, our Facebook groups represent. Until now, we have put all our efforts into serving our clients, creating community around common interests, business interests, and often personal interests depending on what spiritual interests even. And most of the time, these groups also function as a vehicle for selling our own courses and products. But at the same time, we form communities, we form friendships, people that we care about and they care about us and our message, and we care about theirs and what they have to offer. And we've made that leap from working from a large— for a large company to working for ourselves. And from working to ourselves, we have built this ability to self-determine and create our own life, our own lifestyle, our own business to something— to make it something that really speaks to our hearts and therefore will speak to our clients because we're so absolutely aligned with what we're doing. But we can do more with our social media, and this is the object of Agents of Change. It is my deepest wish and the biggest vision that I had through helping other clients with their own business visions and some recent events that are well known to all of us, that we can actually take charge for ourselves and use our communities as a place to be the change that we want to see in the world. This is a phrase that people say over and over and over again, but it is never truer than it is today. We've realized that we can build our own businesses, we can maintain our families, we can create lifestyles that we never thought that we would have or would never have been possible in a corporate environment. And now that same ability of abundance and that same joy of sharing and all that wealth in the sense of richness of our lives, we're also able to share with other people and the causes that we believe in most. And this is what Agents of Change is all about. I would love for you to join. It's a special place in Facebook, and it will be on other platforms as well, called Agents of Change, where entrepreneurs can join, can find out ways to leverage their social media tribes and followings for causes that they believe in and causes that their community believes in. Because we are so much more than our businesses. We all know that. And wouldn't it be amazing to be able to share everything we've created and the joy and the abundance of everything that we, that we feel and that we have to offer to move even a small piece of what isn't working right now? So instead of focusing on the negative, I would love us all to focus on the positive, to, to think about and to visualize deeply about what it is we would like to see Whether it's animal rights, human rights, civil rights, health, environment, education, it doesn't really matter. Gender discrimination, it doesn't matter. There's so much that needs fixing. There's something for everybody, and it's wonderful and variegated that everybody has their own causes. And it's a beautiful thing to share because we can find out so many amazing projects and so many people who are working in this world. So even if it isn't our calling to run those nonprofits or charities or foundations ourselves, we most definitely can support them. And we can bring our tribes together and our following together to express ourselves. It can be something really small, it can be as little as a dollar, and it can be huge. It can be our time, it can be our expertise, it can be all kinds of things. And it's time to explore this. Amazing resource that has been under our noses all this time, and it's time for us to take action. The Dalai Lama says that the Western woman will save the world, and that's who we are. And most of the entrepreneurs online are women, and men are more than welcome. But this is a this it's time for us to rise up and take action. So I would love it if you could join Agents of Change. This is also a logo that you can put on your website. To let people know, and your clients, prospective clients and actual clients know, that you are doing something concrete to make the world a better place, whether it's schoolbooks, whether it's planting trees, it doesn't matter what it is. Every little bit counts, and it's nice to make it all count together. There are so many of us. Think of the thousands, the hundreds of thousands and millions of people that are connected through Facebook groups and and all the other social media platforms— Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter. If we all move to pull together, we can do this. So become an agent of change and join me. Thank you.
