In this brief monologue, Donna Brown addresses Ajit (and Anita) to present her view that business coaching and personal/life coaching are fundamentally the same practice when approached through an experiential, integrative process. She outlines a step‑by‑step journey that begins with participants listing the qualities they desire in both their businesses and their ideal lives, then quickly moves them through an eight‑pillar framework: openness (open‑heartedness), willingness to receive, curiosity, willingness to explore, willingness to ask questions (leading to self‑inquiry and purpose discovery), self‑love/healing, compassion (bodhicitta), vision, intention, joyful action, and gratitude/celebration. Throughout she intersperses stories and concrete examples that illustrate how intention shapes monetary and personal outcomes. Donna highlights a specific methodology called Transformational Mindfulness Methods—patronized by the Dalai Lama and taught in a university social work department—as the core process for group work, describing a group exercise that helps individuals expand a chosen positive quality and leave with actionable steps. She concludes by inviting further conversation via call or voice message and expresses enthusiasm for participants sharing their experiences.

Hi, Ajit. I'm going to go as fast as I can to get to stay under the 2 minutes. Business is a tool for personal transformation. We normally consider business coaching and personal coaching or life coaching as 2 separate things when in fact they are one. And this really is to bring the audience on a journey of— experiential journey of how this— how they can bring these things together. So at the beginning, Really having them listing qualities and, yeah, qualities and characteristics of businesses and qualities and characteristics they would like their ideal lives to have and showing where there's a difference and where they come together. From that, I move them very quickly through, I move them through the 8 pillars, I'm moving now very quickly, of openness, so open-heartedness, the willingness to receive, curiosity, the willingness to explore, the willingness to ask questions, Which then will take you on a journey of self-inquiry, of knowing how you're meant to move through the world, what your purpose is, looking at archetypes, looking at all the different things that that takes to understand how it is you're meant to move in this world. Which then brings us to self-love. And the healing part of this is really allowing and is really loving ourselves. And this, it can, doesn't pass through only things as detox and exercise and all that other stuff, because you can actually still have have deep pockets of resistance or self-hate or non-acceptance. Let's put it that way. From that, that we are being able to love ourselves, we'll be driven to make good choices by making about what our businesses, what we should and should not be doing. And from that, we'll be able to truly help other people and truly love other people. And of course, on the biggest scale possible, this is the great compassion or bodhicitta. And from there, it's Moving time to the vision. Now you have this bigger picture, so it's time to vision, start envisioning and dreaming bigger and bigger still. From that vision, of course, we also have to work on our willingness to receive, what Mara has built her entire business on, this one point. From this willingness to receive, again, our intention with what we are and our motivation and our intention of what we are meant to bring through the world. I have some great stories about these. These are all in Interspersed with stories, obviously, and concrete examples of how intention shapes the results of what we do monetarily and not just in satisfaction. Then from that, taking action, because right now we've just been sort of, let's say, thinking and planning. So moving into joyful effort and action and to bringing all these things to life. And then gratitude for what we have done and celebration of what we have accomplished, even if it isn't what we expected. And to really get people on this amazing journey, and I've gone over it because I really can't do it in the 2 minutes, to take them on this amazing journey, I have a wonderful process that has been— the patron is the Dalai Lama, and it's taught at a university in the Department of Social Work. It's called Transformational Mindfulness Methods. I can tell you more about it. And taking the group on a journey of how to enhance a positive quality that they have, and this is a fabulous group exercise. And each individual will come away not only with that feeling of expansion about the quality that they wish to see more of in themselves, but they will also have concrete steps that they can take. And if there's time, and if and when you allow me the time for them to share as well, that would be a super amazing thing because I really do believe that the group sharing and that sort of individual sharing of somebody who does want to show what came up through them through this whole process would be super worthwhile. Didn't make it under 2 minutes. Sorry. Hope you listened to all of it, and I really look forward to hearing from you. And if you have any questions, obviously it would be great to have a call or send each other the voice message as you suggested. Lots of love to you, Anita. Bye. Bye.
