Hi, guys. My name is Donny Rouse, and you're listening to the podcast One Life. When you're ready. Are your friends telling you that you need to make a certain change in your life? Maybe it is changes to your diet. Maybe it's changes in your relationship, maybe it's changes in your career. Do you know that you need to make certain changes in your life to get that night, your life, to that, maybe that next level of happiness or whatever that is for you? If you do, chances are you're probably going through some turmoil internally because you know there's a decision that you have to make. But maybe you're feeling apprehensive, maybe you're feeling kind of stuck, like you can't quite make that yet. If that is where you are. I want you to relax. I want you to just kind of rest assured that the time you will make that decision is coming. I was out for drinks with a couple friends of mine, and one of my friends was. We were talking. We got on the topic of relationships, and my friend was talking about her friend's relationship and how that she just needs to leave the guy. And she went into some of the reasons as to why. One, he was cheating on her. Two, she was supporting him and all this stuff. And then they looked to me for advice. I was like, worry when she's ready to, you know, when she's ready to break up, she'll break up. And they said, well, wow, isn't that sage advice? And I said, well, yes, because until you're ready, no one could force you to make any decision that you're not ready for. Sometimes it takes a little bit more pain. Sometimes it just takes that epiphany for us to say, you know what? Now I'm ready to let go. I know in my own personal life, with my business, it's always been that struggle. I struggled with the freedom of not being kind of stuck in operating and running the business, as opposed to being out somewhere in the world traveling. So without committing to the business fully, I had that freedom to kind of like to go and do as I please. Not to say that I can't do that at some later point in time if I set my business up for that. So there was this tug of war going inside of my own mind. And everyone said, well, you know, what are you waiting for? When are you going to grow your business? When are you going to do this? When are you going to do that? What are you waiting for? And it would make me stress out because I'm like, well, they don't understand me. I don't want to do it yet. But then there came a time when I started looking and I started getting ready to do it. And it was looking at the maybe it was like, you know what? I have been traveling for so many years and while I'm not going to stop, I feel like it's time to start progressing, it's time to start pushing forward. And then I started looking for guides to guide me on that journey. And as a result of looking for that guide, I got more clarity and all of a sudden the path forward became more cleared. But why didn't this happen 10 years ago? Why wasn't I willing to commit 10 years ago up to literally it's been the last 10 years? Because I wasn't ready to. That's the simple thing, right? No one, everyone could tell me people were chiming in from all different directions saying you should do this, you should do that. But no one is in charge of my life and no one is in charge of your life, right? If there's a change that people are pressuring you to make, it's not their decision to make, it's your decision to make and it's your life. So if you are in a job, maybe where you're not really happy, but you're not unhappy, so unhappy that you're willing to leave yet, relax, there probably will be a point. But you know what? It's going to take care of itself. If you just kind of listen to your heart and you just allow it to be, the next steps are going to come to you. So I guess this episode should really be based on trust and trusting that the divine timing that when things are going to happen, they're going to happen. When you're ready to let go, you're going to let go. When you're ready to take that next step, you will take that next step. And without getting caught up in everything all the people around you are saying, because that is what's going to fog your mind, that's what's going to make everything seem cloudy, like you can't see forward and like maybe there's something wrong with you because you're not progressing or you're not doing something that you're supposed to or should be doing. That is what's going to keep you from making decisions you need to make to move forward, forward in your life. And when I say forward, I just mean in the direction of your happiness, direction of your well being, the direction of growth. So no homework here. But rather than give you some questions, just scan your life. Where does this apply to you? Are there, you know, where are the areas where people are telling you you should do this, you should do that. And if you want to pose a question yourself, why haven't I done that yet? You know, maybe a fear will come up. And when you recognize that fear, you may say, you know what, I'm ready to let that go. Yes, this is the next logical step. Let me take that step forward and I'll repeat that last point. It is only a step. It's only one step. The one step that you do, taking you out of the day to day, like the habitual way of living, opens up your eyes to new possibilities, new ways of thinking. And literally it starts with a step. I mean, I could go into different aspects of my business and tell you how just taking one small action moved me forward. And the funny thing is I don't know if it's self sabotaging. So in doing formulation stuff for my espresso, for example, I know exactly what I had to do. I needed to test these certain ingredients and literally just taste them and see, alright, how do they taste? Are they close to like control the original? How are they? That was the only step, but yet I was avoiding it for probably like, I mean, weeks. And this is not the first. I've been working on this process for next probably like six years. Why was I avoiding it? Because it was a fear. Like, well, what if it doesn't work out? What if I don't get the right ingredient? What if I don't get the right ingredient? I guess I just try again, right? And isn't that true of life? If you don't get it right the first time, what do you do? It's not a failure. You try again. If anything, you get feedback. So the timing is always right. The timing is, it's ready when you're ready. That is all I wanted to share with you guys and I hope you enjoyed this post. I hope you can apply it to your life and literally just take a little bit of the pressure off that you're putting on yourself and allow yourself to just kind of be in the moment and just be guided and process things as you're supposed to process. And believe me, when you're ready to make that decision, you will make that decision. But till then, I want you to just relax, take it easy and enjoy your one life. That is it. Guys, I hope you enjoyed this episode. God bless and I will see you again soon.
