In this solo podcast episode, Dr. Anne Truong, a sexual health physician and author of Erectile Dysfunction Fix, explains what men should do when they discover they have erectile dysfunction (ED). She defines ED as a consistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual satisfaction and clarifies that it involves the entire sexual response cycle—from desire to orgasm. Dr. Truong classifies ED as primarily organic (blood flow, nerves, hormones, medication effects) with a psychogenic component in many cases, noting that over 80% of cases have an organic element and that ED is a strong early warning sign for cardiovascular disease. She introduces the IIEF‑5 questionnaire for severity grading and stresses the importance of professional medical evaluation, including fasting glucose, HbA1c, lipid profile, total and free testosterone, and blood pressure checks. Lifestyle change is presented as the cornerstone of reversal: a Mediterranean diet and 30 minutes of moderate exercise 4–5 times per week, smoking cessation, and weight management (BMI < 30). Dr. Truong promotes her premium in‑office “Get Hard Protocol” (stem cells, shockwave, Botox, hormones, lifestyle) for high‑income men willing to invest ~$16,000, and she also advertises the Modern Man Club (NoEDMan.com) and a free checklist at WhatToDoED.com. Throughout, she emphasizes that ED is reversible when addressed early, discourages reliance on pills as a primary solution, and urges listeners to be honest with themselves and seek proper medical care.
