This is a YouTube video titled "Be Skeptical of 'Trading Systems' #trading #daytrading #investing" containing a monologue or talk recorded in December 2024. The speaker discusses skepticism about trading systems and advises viewers to carefully calculate their trading returns, considering time, taxes, and expenses. The content focuses on trading and investing advice.
I get emails all the time talking about trading, and usually they're selling some sort of system to help you to trade. So you can be super successful jumping in and out of stocks or options or crypto assets or whatever. But I want you to be very skeptical when you see these things when you talk to people doing this, because when you really step back and think about it, none of this really makes much sense. I encourage you to do a few things if you're really into trading. The first is to actually calculate your returns. If you will do this, and you will do this faithfully, especially if you will adjust for the value of your time and the additional taxes and expenses you are generating by doing it, most of the time, you will discover that you would have been better off not spending that time trading.
