This is a YouTube video titled "Financial Advice for Med Students" containing a monologue or single-speaker talk recorded in 2025, offering financial literacy advice specifically targeted at medical students in their M4 year to prepare for intern year by reading quality financial materials and setting short-term financial goals.
Somewhere out there there's an MS.4 listening to this. What advice do you have for them? Definitely try to read, you know, some financial books, some financial blogs, good quality financial books and good quality financial blogs. And I would say figure out what your priorities and your short term goals are to really determine what your short term goal is and then to set a budget and then be able to work towards that short term goal and then build up to the next 1. But for Ms. 4 is, yeah, definitely work on financial literacy. You have, you know, there's a little bit more free time in M4 year to, to do that, and just kind of get yourself a good baseline of knowledge before you go into intern year, because there'll be obviously less time to learn about finances.
