A lawyer discovers the White Coat Investor platform and shares why it changed how they think about money. The speaker was skeptical at first but found the financial advice genuinely useful for their situation.
How much I can make is a function of how much time I can spend working. And that's not very sustainable necessarily. And that's really where I took the interest, where I said, you know what, I need a plan. And that's how I found you. So I was like, I need a written financial plan. And I found this white coat investor on a bogohead form. And my initial thought was, I don't know who this guy is. What's a white coat investor? It's going to be some niche content that's hyper specific to the healthcare field, that's not going to be particularly relevant to me. And then I set aside my own kind of personal bias. Okay, let me look at this. And I was like, wow, this is, this is amazing. This is what I needed to know to get started on that journey. And it's been kind of a journey ever since, right? Where it's like, I guess I would call myself a personal finance enthusiast, right? Where it's, it's a hobby, it's great to learn about it, even things that aren't necessarily relevant to me.
